A modern icon

42ft Torpedo

The J Craft Torpedo is a boat like no other, with its tremendous visual and tactile appeal. Evoking all the glamour of the classic wooden speed boats of the 50s and 60s but with the latest design and engineering techniques, it is the perfect luxury all-rounder.

Life aboard the Torpedo is a blissful experience, made easier by the sumptuous accommodation and an array of technological features. The Torpedo can comfortably sleep four adults plus one captain in two generous cabin areas. Both air conditioning and a heater are always available as options.

A neat, luxurious wet room allows you to freshen up in style. On the main deck, entertaining is made easy with the aid of a refrigerator, ice-maker, sink and an induction hob. Optional glassware and china is available, augmented by cutlery designed by His Majesty Prince Carl Philip Bernadotte of Sweden.

The deck area can be shaded with the standard Bimini and there is an option to extend this to the aft, also covering the sunpad. For bad weather, an additional sprayhood and full cabrio cover can be specified.

Entertainment is provided by an onboard radio, CD and DVD player with the option to integrate your own iPod so that you can enjoy your own playlists. The internet is also only ever a click away.

& Beauty

As with so much in life, enjoyment is often found in the little details and J Craft is no exception. From the sumptuous leathers and handcrafted cabinetry, to the genuine Nardi steering wheel and gorgeous fabrics, joy is derived from the tactility of the vessel and the understanding that, to J Craft, the little things count -

The 350 nautical mile range of the Torpedo means that wherever you are in the world, the most glamorous destinations are always within your reach.

The J Craft Torpedo is one of the most stable boats on the market, aided in no small part by the innovative Volvo IPS drives. Designed in conjunction with the Torpedo, the pod-mounted, forward facing propellers can move through 360 degrees, making cornering easy, safe and comfortable.

At low speed, when manoeuvring in harbour for example, the Torpedo is controlled by the IPS joystick. This allows the boat to move backwards, forwards, sideways and even turn in its own length, all with delicate, finger-tip control.
