J Craft at the GANT inaugural Rowing Race in Stockholm
J Craft were delighted to be one of the official partners to the inaugural Gant Rowing Race that took place in Stockholm over the weekend (22 May 2010). Gant finds inspiration in the style and elegance of the classic college sports and this was reflected in the atmosphere on the banks of the Stockholm’s Royal Djurgården. As such it made the perfect backdrop to the timeless lines of the Torpedo anchored at the finish line.
The races were between the two prominent Swedish boarding schools, Sigtuna and Lundsberg, starting below the Nobel Park and finishing in front of the Maritime Museum. The overall winner was SSHL.
The J Craft team ran a Torpedo Motor Launch throughout the event, ferrying VIPs and organizing a number of test-drives for interested customers.
This was the first time that J Craft has shown the new Torpedo model in Sweden since launching the very first boat back in 1999, which is owned by His Majesty Carl Gustav XVl, King of Sweden.
